It's so annoying that fat women keep saying "i'm big and beautiful, people need to accept that there are alot of overweight girls in the world and that it's normal". No it's not normal! also, will people stop saying that big girls are good role models (like america ferrera, etc)??
It makes me sick!
Now don't start attacking me and telling me to go fantasize about anorexic girls. I know most fat girls get angry and assume that guys like anorexic girls. No, i dont! i dont even think the top supermodels are hot.
it goes both ways for me. Being underweight is abnormal, ugly, and unhealthy but being overweight is abnormal, ugly, and unhealthy as well.
And stop calling men who don't like fat girls shallow! We're not shallow!
Being overweight is a problem. it means you can't control yourself when you eat. it means you lack self respect. and it means you are at high risk for many physical illnesses.
^^^ Since when is that normal?

I understand what you are looking for " Perfection" which is what you will not find, Son.
You want these fat people to look slim, not too slim, but healthy.
Whether you agree with this statement or not, how about all of us should be doctors, who would be the patient?
You might see others hideous, while they see themselves gorgeous. Also, you may see others unattractive, while others view them seductive. Overweight, underweight, whatever, it has nothing to do with them, but rather with you.
What would you say about an ill person who can't gain weight no matter how much he/she eats? Would you say that person is ugly? You do not want to be called shallow, so here is another word for you, you are " ostensible"
Dad thinks you are very mean and disrespectful to Human beings.

Because of the society we live in everyone thinks it is okay to be overweight, or inderweight. Yes it is unhealthy but most people would rather careless if they are healthy or not. Like most of the healthy girls look at the models in magizines and most of it is touch up, so they become anorexic.
And larger girls are either to lazy to become healthy or just don't care so they continue to stuff there faces with twinkies.
Yes both cases are pathetic but if people are happy with the way they look then they won't change and just say stuff to make them feel better.

People like to embrace their fatness because hey nobody wants to admit that they are not perfect. I don't think fat people should hate themselves, but I don't think they should settle for obesity. My mom always talks about how she thinks she looks pretty good for age. She doesn't. She is fat. She is just too lazy to do anything about it! I think that fat people as well as underweight people should love the person on the inside enough to take care of their health! As for America Ferrera...I saw some pics of her recently and she looked like she had lost some weight. I think they must pad that Ugly Betty suit. I also think that she is probably closer to normal in real life. I think most of us would look chunky next to Rebecca Romijn and Vanessa Williams! I know my size 4 butt would be looking pretty big!

I agree with you. Neither is healthy and they should not be our role models. I think men who look at a girl and say 'I don't like her because she is fat' is shallow. You should never judge someone on their looks.
You're right being over weight is a problem, so is being underweight. We should have role models like Scarlett Johanson and other HEALTHY females.

*Sigh* Y'know, you've probably burned a lot of calories by fuming out this question.
Being overweight is normal. Now don't stop reading yet. It has to do with survival. The body stores fat in preparation for a famine or other natural disaster. Really.

Who determines what is normal? I would say that each one of us makes that choice but that choice is only for each one of us an should not be imposed on others. Being fat, obese, large or overweight (all valid terms and not offensive for me since I qualify on all accounts at 550 pounds plus) is a personal choice. Each individual also needs to make the decision as to whether their size is healthy or not for them. Just like those of us with size should not impose our "normal" on others, others should not impose "normal" on us. Live and let live - you cannot control others so why try.

Obesity is an illness which often is hard to cure. And this cure doesn't always depend on people's will power. Some people are genetically predisposed to be obese.
That's why I try not to be judgemental about fat people, and I try to accept them as they are.
I suppose some obese people are like a cripple who has accepted himself and is happy with the way he is.
