I waded out into the ocean far enough that it was over my head. Then I had the hardest time getting back to shore, as the waves kept pulling me back out.... That was insane and could have ended up badly.
Nowadays, I only have had the occasional social drink (and it's been that way for about 15 years.) Being drunk is stupid.

Was in a gin mill with two shipmates. We caught cockroaches (we did not frequent the best of gin mills) and put them under my white hat so they could not get away. When we had enough, one of my mates called the barmaid while I scooped up roaches and put them in my mouth. When she arrived I opened my mouth and let them crawl out over my face.

Killed my neighbor's fish in his pond. It was a real fiasco the next day. (I was MUCH younger when this happened, and had been goaded on by my crazy [now] sister-in-law.)
