Jesus Christ has always been in glory until His time to be born on this earth, yet as he was innocently killed, he willingly gave his enemies the right so He could redeem mankind from their sins and give them new life in Christ. After he died, He was resurrected by God by the power of the Holy Spirit and so as it is now, Those who call upon Him (Jesus), are given freedom from the penalty of their sins and washed clean and as the same Holy Spirit that raised Christ from the dead shall also raise the Born Again believer from the grave to spend Eternity with Jesus, in a prepared place in heaven. But to those who don't receive the Holy Spirit, they will only be raised to stand in Divine Judgment and sentenced to a lake of fire for loving sin instead of Christ who gave His life and blood for them though they willingly refused to freely receive HIM. Jesus is alive and He stands as High Priest now in heaven and is doing His work of redemption throughout the whole world until The Father says, "Son, IT IS TIME! Go and receive your Bride!" And those who love the Lord shall be caught up with him to be glorified with him and we will share in a Wedding Banquet that had been planed even before the world was created..Hope you will be there.

Hello and good question you picked a verse that shows Jesus has always been and will always be, from all of time past in Hebrews 1:5-9 The Father Himself address Jesus as God and in John 8:58 Jesus is The I AM of Exodus 3 Moses and the burning bush, the greatest thing also is if we can understand everything out of The Holy Bible then it could not be of God the very fact that we can not understand everything shows us The Holy bible is really inspired, we are born and we know we will die we can not understand anyone that has always been and always will be its behond our understanding. Science tells us that the Universe is about 15- 20 Billions years Old. Therefore Jesus is Older than that as a Spirit Creature. The exact Date of his " Beginning " cannot be pinpointed, but I hope this serves its purpose.

c'mon JC, mutual respect?
You know, when I was young, I saved up my money for the audio LP set "Jesus Christ Superstar", and when I bought it, did not understand the irony, just loved the idea that someone did something deeply creative and rockin' with the story of Jesus.
(I grew up in the OC in the late 60's early 70's, those were good times. A totally different world than today).
