Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Even an old heathen like me can appreciate this verse-to me, it says it all.

a warm embrace, the kiss of a child, the wag of a tail, a fluttering heart, a n intention sent from afar, the kiss of the sun, the shining face of the moon, the God/Gods/Goddesses/Spirituality as you see and feel it, a letter from a friend, a flower, a tear that's wiped away, a shoulder to cry on, love is .... this and so much more.

Jihad- If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. I'm sorry that love is such a sore point for you. I hope one day you can see it the way Pangel does.

Love is being real, even when real is very bad. Love is choosing to lay your own life down to help others. Love is listening to others problems, and helping to fix them. Love is the perfect remedy to hate.
Love is what makes us wake up every day, and go to sleep every night. Love is giving all you have to make one person's day special.
But most of all, love is best shared as a special connection between two people.
