How do you stop 2 liter bottles of going flat after opening a couple of times?

buy smaller bottles that you can use up more quickly.

They sell 8 oz bottles which would be perfect for a couple drinks.

There is only one way, really. Invest in a screw on cap that has a pump. The only way to keep CO2 in the water is to pressurize the container. The more open space in the bottle, the more gas leaves the water to equalize the pressure in the bottle, so the answer that says squeeze the bottle is actually harmful to your carbonization. This squeezes out the air and then the bottle will have to completely pressurize with the CO2!

dont shake it or close the cap as tight as u can or take a plastic bag put the bottle in and tie the bag tight good luck!
