if u really like him u should get with him. if she doesnt approve just tell her that u really like him, and it is up to him not her to decide. she doesnt sound like a good friend, friends stop friends from dating unless maybe the person is dangerous. just date him if u really like him.

well first run this by your best friend. id would be worse if your best freind just found out then if you told her. and if you best friend says shes not good with it then shes not really your best friend and go for it anyway

nothing wrong with it. maybe she's scared you won't give her the attention you have been giving her. just make sure you let her know it's what makes u happy and re-assure her it won't take away from what you two have.
