for an atheist, all the answers are in our heads.
for a theist, the answers are in ancient books with subjective interpretations.

Good looks will make any theist "stumble" or at least lose train of thought with such a "distraction" ;^J (right Jack? your weapon of choice isn't really "logic" is it? lol)
But yes, Bonsai Bobby expressed it well. The battle is fought on the spiritual ground between blindfolded atheists, bloodied theists, and a host of heavenly beings in active combat with the forces of evil. If we all had our spiritual eyes opened, we would see that the real war is not in mideast, it is actually right in front of us, surrounding us. But God did not mean for everyone to see this.
So, at the end of the day, the atheist "wins" with logic. But beyond the horizon of the day, through eternity, the theist wins the Holy Spirit.
Blessings to you always!

The qualities or advantages that atheists possess: logic, thought, reasoning. Not being fearful of change and new information. The ability to take in new information and synthesize it. An inherent curiosity and hunger for discovery.
Being unable to reason is not a positive character trait outside religion.
— Dewey Henize
Reason is God's crowning gift to man.
— Sophocles
Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear.
— Thomas Jefferson
In the long run, nothing can withstand reason and experience, and the contradiction religion offers to both is only too palpable.
— Sigmund Freud
I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use.
— Galileo Galilei
A dogma is the hand of the dead on the throat of the living.
— Lemuel K. Washburn
Sit down before fact as a little child, be prepared to give up every preconceived notion, follow humbly wherever and whatever abysses nature leads, or you will learn nothing.
—Thomas Henry Huxley (1825-1895)
By all means let’s be open-minded, but not so open-minded that our brains drop out.
— Richard Dawkins
To those searching for truth – not the truth of dogma and darkness but the truth brought by reason, search, examination, and inquiry, discipline is required. For faith, as well intentioned as it may be, must be built on facts, not fiction – faith in fiction is a damnable false hope.
—Thomas Alva Edison (1847-1931)
I find every sect, as far as reason will help them, make use of it gladly; and where it fails them, they cry out, it is a matter of faith, and above reason.
— John Locke (1632-1704)
God is a sound people make when they're too tired to think anymore.
— Edward Abbey
I don't know why it is that the religious never ascribe common sense to God.
— Somerset Maugham
The only hope I can see for the future depends on a wiser and braver use of the reason, not a panic flight from it.
— F. L. Lucas
Faith may be defined briefly as an illogical belief in the occurrence of the improbable.... A man full of faith is simply one who has lost (or never had) the capacity for clear and realistic thought. He is not a mere ***: he is actually ill.
— H.L. Mencken
Faith must trample under foot all reason, sense, and understanding
– Martin Luther
For ages, a deadly conflict has been waged between a few brave men and women of thought and genius upon the one side, and the great ignorant religious mass on the other. This is the war between Science and Faith. The few have appealed to reason, to honor, to law, to freedom, to the known, and to happiness here in this world. The many have appealed to prejudice, to fear, to miracle, to slavery, to the unknown, and to misery hereafter. The few have said, "Think!" The many have said, "Believe!"
— Robert G. Ingersoll, (1872)
Christians! shake off the supineness which your priests have created in you; dare to think for yourselves, nor suppose your God can be pleased with the sacrifice of your reason. The bended knee is not the attitude for study. Read the Bible with the eye of criticism nor of faith. Suspend your devotions, and reflect on the reception of your past petitions. Ask no more till they are granted.
— Emma Martin, (1812-1851)

Your question leaves me chuckling, but not because I disagree. I have for some time claimed there is not much difference between the typical Atheist and the typical Theist. And the fact is that though they deny it, many Atheists live on a faith every bit as blind as the most fundamental believer of whatever persuasion, Christian, Muslim, Jew or Buddhist or any of the others. As far as Atheists being smarter, I am a firm believer and though Baruch Spinoza never took an IQ test, his IQ ha been estimated. I have taken several and all I will say is that Spinoza and I evidently have more in common that the fact God gave us both noses. Some people claim all faith is blind, but my faith is a carefully considered, carefully reasoned and very reasonable, rational and defensible faith. Were atheist Stephen Roberts (1901-1971) standing in front of me this moment, I would say back to him, “I contend that we are both men of faith. I just have faith in one more thing than you do, and for very good reason. When you fully understand why I disdain all the devisers of superstitions and dismiss the gods of vain imaginings, you will understand why I believe in my God, and you will believe also." -- B. Knott Wildered (Not my real name, but the quote is mine.)

I would say that an Atheist probably has less guilt, since they don't feel they need to answer to a higher power. But that is a generality. I don't think it is what you believe that makes you better, or worse, but what you do with those beliefs. There are some horrible things that have been done in the name of a higher power, as well as those who do not believe.

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds" (2 Corinthians 10:4
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12.
The battle is spiritual and is not of this earth. Deep to those who understand...foolishness to those who do not.
