Yes. God created the world and the Sabbath through Christ Jesus His Son. He made the seventh day holy and sanctified it....set it apart....so that we would always remember Him.
Jesus kept the Sabbath as our example and never changed it. Ex. 20:8-11

God consists of 3 persons in one being: The Father, The son, and The Holy Spirit.
When God created the Earth he oftened referred to himself in the plural, to include The Son (Christ Jesus) and the Holy Spirit.
So yes, I'd have to say that Christ did have a part in it since, all three have made up the one true living God for eternity.
