My cat was bit by a snake and the cat scratched my daughter. I live in Southern NJ and we have copperheads and black snakes. I took my daughter to the er and they said i have nothing to worry about but I am still concerned. Is there any reason to be worried? What should I look out for?

If the snake was venemous, then you will probably have a dead cat. Your daughter getting scratched, is not a worry, as there was no transfer of poison.

The venom is not like a virus or germ. It might kill your cat but it doesn't transfer to the scratch that she made on your daughter...
Chill out...the hospital told you she is fine...
