Actually it does become easier to kill a human after killing an animal. You become desensitized when you are exposed to violence (from TV movies, to actually killing)

If you read about the life of serial killers like Jeffrey dahmer, you will see that he felt bad after his first kill, but at the end of his career he was killing more than 1 person every month, and his behavior totally changed towards guilty and respect for the bodies

Now. Becoming desensitized will not make you WANT to kill, will only make you less emotional. Or as mention above farmers would be on a rampage. I would not also try to use it to explain terrorist. It is a whole complex culture behind it, not only the kinda of food

You silly silly boy! Slaughtering animals as a source for food is in no way comparable to the slaughter of ones fellow man!
Just cause one follows Islam, or is a Muslim does not mean they are a terrorist! The term "Muslim extremist" simply meens such a person would be a "religious fanatic"! Whether you chose to believe it or not, there are also Catholic extremists, Protestant extremists, Jewish extremists, I could go on and on and on!

Not necessarily. I think it is possible that one can kill an animal for food, and yet have very serious issues about killing other people. It's all in the upbringing.

I do see where you're coming from though, but I do not think the answer comes from that direction. Perhaps it's in the madrassas that teach that the Americans and other Westerners are crusaders, and that it is every muslim's duty to fight, fight, fight, without end until the land that had been taken from the faithful is taken back. I did read that in the Koran.

How would you know? Have you ever slaughtered an animal? Have you ever killed a human being?

I have hunted and fished all my life, so I know what it is like to kill (NOT slaughter) an animal, and it is not easy to destroy even though it is done with respect and just for food. I would never ever kill a person.

And what about Christian extremism, or radical Judaism, or any other religion?

But we slaughter animals for food in the U.S.A?

How is that different?

I know in this country we are dumb enough to feed animals parts to other animals creating diseases.

I buy halal meat because they do not and it's clean.

not even close.

everyone who eats causes animal death. unless you gather berries and nuts as your only source of food. and live in an organic house and use no modern things.

i have hunted and fished since i was 7. i have nothing against putting a bullet through Bambi, or his rabbit friend Thumper.
and nothing against finding Nemo on a hook.

but to get me to kill a human.

i would have to be stopping that human from killing someone else. or defending my country or home from some kind of attack.

No it's not. You don't know anything about Islam, so don't throw some sh-for sh- around others' properties.

There is a reason to slaughter animals, and it's not only for food.
Oh, wait. Maybe we should just slaughter you, infidel. *Runs to get blade*

As a hunter, I think that killing another human being is inconceivable. Video games about killing people are more of a danger to society. They desensitize, making people targets.

That's probably one of the silliest things I've ever heard. Hitler was a vegetarian, so what does that say?
