i just accidentally scratched my upper gum with my fingernail. it was bleeding but isnt bleeding anymore. i am hanging out with this guy in like an hour and i know we will hook up (only like making out.. no sex or oral or anything) anyways..is there anyway i can get an STD or disease from him because i have a cut? also are there any diseases i can get just from kissing in general.. like making out .. i also admit that i make out with ppl kind of a lot.. more that i wish i did.. well i've made out with 3 guys in 2 weeks.. is this bad ? are there any set backs to this? i appreciate your help (:

you guys are kind of harsh lol.. i have only made out with 6 guys in my life.. one in 6th grade.. 2 in the begining of the year, 1 in like april, then 2 like two weeks ago and this one tonight.. i am often pressured by guys to do stuff with them but i know not to give in .so the only thing i do is make out with them because i figure it is a safe option.. beter than sex! i probably wont go much farther any time soon so i really wouldnt consiter myself a whore..

depends on what you think of as "bad." If you're not already labeled as a slut, you're probably working your way to it. And the more guys think you are, the more attention you'll get from them. And the ones who just want you for sex and crap anyway. Vicious circle.

Well if he has herpes of the mouth u could get it.
Plus mouths are filled with bacteria, it could get infected with the bacteria that comes from his mouth.
Probably not, but could. be careful and know your risk. I definately wouldn't give oral with a cut on my mouth, but if its only little I would probably make out, but there is a risk.
There are set backs to making out with that many guys that closely together, just that the more you make out the more you are likely to go farther and you shouldn't do that unless you both really love each other.

yes, if he has an STD then it can be spread through the saliva.. i don't know what ones, but i know they can. and if you have a cut in your mouth where it can get into the blood then you definitely run a greater risk. Also there is a new disease you can get from kissing... i don't remember the name, i just recently heard about it.. but it's supposedly a lot Worse than Mono.... kissing is not such a safe thing anymore, and you might want to reconsider kissing So many guys. but it's really up to you... i don't want to scare you, just telling you what i know. if you are worried about kissing Beforehand.. how are you not going to be thinking and worrying about it when you are kissing... it might go through your head since you asked this question. but have fun, it's your life! i'm not gonna tell you what is right or wrong... that's up to you to decide. if you are fine with it, then go right ahead.

are u a virgin? if yes there is no way that ur carrying a disease of some sort so u couldnt pass it on from a cut
if ur not a virgin and hasnt used protection and u might have somethin(not saying u have) then as u got the cut its likey to spread within the saliva of ur boyfriend basicly ill wait till ur cut is healed ... hope i havnt offended u in any way? xx

It will not be a good idea to kiss if you have an open wound. but most gum scratches heal pretty fast.
Sounds like you are very young and making out with diffent guys is not a good thing.

any time you have an open cut you have risk of transmssion of diseases. As far as other STD's, i don;t think so, unlesas you do give oral .... i'd call a health clinic line to ask them to be sure!
