Maybe, along with several layers of skin.

Seriously, DON'T DO THIS, applying dry ice to your skin will cause serious damage.

If you want to lessen the appearance of a scar, massage vitamin E oil or cream into it. The act of massaging the scar does more to reduce it than any cream or lotion, but vitamin E has been proven to be pretty effective.

No, not really. Dry ice on skin can actually cause much more damage.

A dermatologist sometimes uses liquid nitrogen to remove moles, warts, scar tissue but it is under controlled use and with the temperature highly regulated.

So, do not go buy a block of dry ice and apply it to your skin - it will cause more scar tissue and serious injury!

Please go talk to a dermatologist.

I wouldn't try dry ice, as it can burn you. If it is a keloid scar, then try some wart remover. I had a wart come up next to a keloid scar, and I used the stickon wart remover. I noticed that it also removed the keloid.

It may leave a scar. A burn causes blistering and scaring due to the type of damage it inflicts in the skin, not specifically due to the heat. Anything that causes similar damage has the potential to cause scarring. The amount of scarring depends on a number of factors including the size and depth of the injury, skin color, genetics, and general health. Also, what kind of treatment your brother received can make a difference.

WRONG! Dry ice can cause a scar.

Vitamin E gel may work long term though.

Its used to remove warts but you should only use the medicated kind you find in the pharmacy aisle. If you put regular dry ice on your skin it'll burn like hell.

It won't remove a scar but it might give you a bigger one. It can freeze your flesh pretty fast.
