NO.......I said they should go to JAIL!

LOL...I do, and I'm not a Christian and I don't believe in hell. Good for this theoretical drunk if he makes it home, but he's still taken people's lives in his hands - he's just lucky. So OK, not hell, but he should definitely be punished.

Incidentally, tuberoot's little screed above is exactly why I always say that Christianity is immoral. And Martin S...wow. If anybody can read that crap and not understand how loathsome and despicable that whole point of view is, I only pity him.

Nobody should go to hell. Hell was made for the devil and his angels, but some people choose to go there. The only thing that sends people to hell his not believing on the Only Son of God. Nobody gets sent to hell they choose to go there.

No but they ought to spend a night in jail. Driving drunk is against the law.

Well, seeing as how in my B.C. daze (before Christ), I used to drive drunk all of the time I'm glad that God isn't going to send me to Hell because of it. Not that I don't deserve to go to Hell, for many reasons, but because of God's gracious gift of Jesus who paid my sin debt for me.

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

11 And such WERE some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

BTW, I don't drink anymore since becoming a Christian.

I think they should go to JAIL, before they kill someone. I've lost friends to drunk drivers. I don't have a lot of sympathy for drunk drivers.

Sure, they deserve it. But then, so do I. They reason why I am not going to Hell is because I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. I trust Him. And He said that if I do that, He will give me eternal life.

The same goes for the drunk driver.

It's too bad they don't have hell time, sort of like jail time. You could be sentenced to say a1000 years in hell for swearing.

No, infact I do not believe drinking is even a sin. Drinking in excess and losing yourself control, that is a different situation all together.

How about a mother who gets drunk and microwaves her 1 month old baby?

Maybe we could find a giant microwave and stick her in it.

All deserve Hell.

We are only saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus.
