The Anomalous Nature of Religious Diversity

The number of major gods recognized around the world and recorded in world history are in the hundreds.

The number of religions, current and past, centered on these gods, is in the thousands.

The number of lives lost in the attempts to advance or defend religious beliefs is in the millions.

The number of humans negatively affected by this cultural anomaly is in the billions.

Absolutely NOT! Many wars have been fought for power, land, wealth, economy. Wars are not meant to fight against religion, NONE! Name me one, and if you do, prove to me that religion is 100% involved in it. What's the point of fighting over religions? You cannot gain anything, lose nothing, nor can you convert anything. Oh and by the way, don't tell me one that happen 14 centuries ago.

No. 1st & 2nd world war was political, only a couple wars were religious, and most are way back in the past. The Crusades is one of only a few i can think of.

Most certainly not. Most wars are done for one corrupt man's gain (or a lot of men). Such as the hundred year's war. WWI, WWII, the twelfth crusade (I know that sounds religious, but it was actually a group of scum pretending to be crusaders [the pope sanctioned them, but then they betrayed him- as they had planned to do from the beginning]) and the list goes on and on and on...

Yes, just take a look at history. Wars may seem to revolve around something else but the deep down dirty is religion.

Not at all.
People are to blame for all wars.
Religion does not come into it at all.
Have a wonderful evening and a glorious LORD'S DAY!
