Its a guy thing, get used to, sorry! I've learned to tell mine to be there a half hour before he is really supposed to be. Usually that gets him there right on time!

Next time say a time but show up at the time you know he'll get there. I do this with a friend of mine...it seems to work. Or you can always call him right before you leave and say I'm on my way...are you? Have you talked to him about being late all the time? Perhaps buy him a watch.

Next time you give him a time, just tack on 20 or 30 extra minutes. If you want him there at 7, tell him to be there at 6:30. If he gets there before you, tell him, sorry, you ran late.

I know how you feel, when I met my husband everything was perfect, but he always was late for everything...... We had a lot of fights and he didn't change until he start working, sometimes the fact that you need to be responsible change your attitude.
You can't change someone but you can help them to be better, it can be done, but you need to be very patience and very creative attitude.

hmmm...maybe he's just not a punctual person. I can't stand that myself as I'm pretty anal about being on time. I would talk with him about it and try to make him understand that it really bothers you and if he's a good boyfriend (which I'm sure he is) he'll try to work on it.

My sisiter in law is the same way. We finally started to add 45 min to whatever time we tell her. So if we are to meet at 1pm we will tell her 1215
Still it drives me crazy

If this happens more than once, then maybe SOMETHING is wrong. Ask him, talk to him, let him know how you feel. Otherwise you won't get anywhere because he obviously can't read minds.

He'll never change. Accept the fact that you cannot change anyone but yourself.
