i dreamt of a fire 3 weeks ago, and it was so realistic and scary, that i told my partner and my mum about it. 2 days later a derelict building opposite where my mum lives was set on fire by arsonists, 2 homeless people died in the fire, scary, but it isnt the first dream that i.ve had that came true, after that one though,i really couldnt sleep for about 5 days, i had to sleep downstairs, because i couldnt stop dreaming about fire after that, and i thought that if i had dreamt something and it had come true, what if my next dreams came true.i was scared to go to sleep because i was scared of what i'd dream.

I believe through my experiences that everyone has some sort of psychic ability there just are some that who are better at than others. Now, I'm not some quack ; I don't call the psychic hot line,I have had several dreams that have come true in past and some that I really hope never do. Then again there are a lot of people believe that most dreams aren't literal; that they have some kind of hidden meaning. Let me share with you one strange dream that most can probably link to a certain world event. "I dreamt that I was cheating on my girlfriend with this girl and I went to work with her which was one of those restaurants on a pier . " Now, keep in mind this girl I have never met in my life...Ok back to the dream" In my dream i could feel joy happiness she had a wonderful smile .... But then I remember i was standing right outside the restaurant on the deck that hung over the side of the pier and I started hearing a loud roaring sound then seeing a wall of water coming but it was moving to fast and i couldn't get inside to get this girl out and the giant wave hit the building and ripped it apart like it was made out sawdust. I'm not sure how I survived in my dream but I did and in my dream it did not matter. All, I did was mourn the death of this girl but after a while of crying for this girl i finally look up and realized what had happened not only was the restaurant and pier gone but so was the whole countryside. By, now you can probably link this dream to a world event and probably think it was dreamt afterword but the truth is this dream occurred 2 days before the tsunami that originated in the Indian ocean in 2004.

One I had concerned floods. I dreamt that the roads around where I lived were under an inch or so of water. There was nothing too serious about that, and the dream was around 1999.
A year later a local pumping station broke down during a downpour, and raw sewage flooded some parts of town, with manhole covers popping off. Also, several roads were prone to flooding due to bad drainage.
But floods kept coming to mind all those years ago, and they seem to be happening all the time in many parts of the country.

I have had about a dozen, i was not aware of their meanings in the beginning at the age of between 16 and 34 but now at 50 if i have a dream i try to remeber the details and analise what they mean. Pretty scary some of them because they all came true, i dream mostly about family and close friends.

Lots of times.
Once, when I was younger, I had a dream about my niece. She had shut her hand in a car door and had a cast on her hand. Well, one night I dreamed that she and my brother were playing with Legos and her cast was off. The next day, my brother was home from school with a cold. When I got home, he said that Dani had come that afternoon, and she had her cast off. No, not earth-shatteringly importnat, but weird.
I have also dreamed about being in places I have never been (not famous or well-known places like Disney World or the Taj Mahal, but just ordinary towns or distinct-looking roads), and have actually visited those places at a later date.

Join the club. I dream of future events often. Keep a journal besides your bed and write them down first thing in the morning..... you will be amazed at how many dreams are premonitory.

yes, ive had dreams in the past for it to later on actually happen, only slightly different. then i feel like im getting deja vu and it comes back to me that i dreamed it years back. my friend always dreams things that happen, a week before the 9/11 bombings happened she dreamed of it. she also dreamed of a car crash someone i know was in a few weeks before it happened. its really scary. i also think 'out of body experiences' happen, as a lot of dreams we have we wake up and think we done them, and i bet we did.

Yes, and unfortunately it was violent and sad...and fortunately it had nothing to do me personally. I read about it in the papers the next day. It's not the only time, but it stands out.
