I'd just say you haven't really thought of that because you are still getting over your loss.

Some people are going to be insensity d1cks no matter what. Some people will always attempt to stick their nose into other people's business - just try to avoid them if at all possible.

Sorry for your loss.

I understand how you feel, but most people who are asking are not trying to be nosy. They are probably horrified in the way you lost you loved one and want to see some sort of justice done. Sometimes people who are concerned don't know how to go about saying it or showing so they ask stupid questions. It's like that with any tragedy. Recently my daughter was missing for a week. I had co workers calling me every day asking stupid questions. Then when we got her back, they asked even dumber questions. I was patient and I understand they were concerned. It did get a bit annoying but I knew t heir hearts were in the right place.

Mostly people love what they think is juicy info, even if it is intrusive and hurtfull. I personally feel that the moral fiber of society is in a decline. My suggestion is walk away when they ask questions that offend. But if these offenders are"friends" it might be time to exam your freindships and decide who is really just an aquaintance.

I honestly feel that people have a hard time knowing what to say when it comes to consoling someone who has lost a loved one.
It can be a very uncomfortable situation for many so they shoot their mouth off just to say something...open mouth insert foot.
I know when a friend's daughter passed I simply said I am so so sorry and am here if you need me.
Rude, yes absolutely! Do they mean to be? Probably not...they just feel you should be compensated in some way for your loss.
god bless

It kind of depends on the accident. Like if it was an accident involving a big company or the gov. then, yeah I would imagine people asking that question. Just the way people are.

Yeah my girlfriend died to a drunk driver when I was 16 in 1998, and people keep telling me I should've sued because I was in the car with her.

It's not even about that!
Who the Hell wants that publicized?

I'd rot homeless in the gutter first before getting rich off of the death of someone I cared about.

Morbid curiousity. Most people will ask stupid questions after someone dies until someone close to them dies. Then they will know to listen and not interupt. I am sorry for your loss. You are doing right by telling them it is none of their business. You could be a little nicer and tell them you don't feel like talking about it.

Some people don't have filters on their brains that tell them to not say something stupid. Ignore the question. If they ask again just say, now don't you think if it was any of your business you would already know? Then smile and change the subject.

When a person asks a rude question--stare at them--I mean real hard--right in the eyes--stare as long as you can--NO WORDS--then turn and walk away. They will feel your pain and will feel awful. How crude can people be??? Who knows--just do what I said. If they chase after you to apologize---stare again--turn and walk away. DO IT ---You'll see what it does.

probably because they are selfish pigs themselves and thats for sure what they would do if that happened because they are greedy they are just assuming you are more angry than you are sad because thats how they are. they are nosy to even ask about it and for them to ask you such a question without anything preceding up to that is completely not okay
