Because the moral of "judge not lest ye be judged" and "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" are lost on people who thrive on finding wrong with other people.

I know alot about Mormonism and alot about mainstream christianity.
Mormons believe that God and Jesus are separate but one in purpose... beliving this or not believing this is not a salvational issue. You can still go to heaven not knowing the answer.
Most mainstream Christians believe Jesus is God incarnate. That's o.k. too... it is not a salvational issue.
Mormons believe in other gods, but so do Christians. It is in the bible. The only important thing is that you know which God to worship. "There is no God like Elohim among all the gods. He is the one whom we should serve"...as christians.
There are many questions, speculations and traditions on various issues that people have asked concerning this (there is also much infighting among every denomination). Side issues or beliefs will vary no matter what. What a person believes affects how you conduct your worship, or how you live your life, but as long as it is not a sin and does not harm you or anyone else, it is permissible to God.
These are the salvational questions: Have you repented of any and all wrongdoing and sin and have come to Jesus Christ to cleanse you and bring you to the Father, Elohim? Do you desire righteousness and learning to live as righteously as possible because you love God and your fellow man? Do you understand that Jesus alone is the path of salvation?
If yes, then you are "saved" and you are a Christian.

Jesus warned us, "If anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles ot deceive even the elect - if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time. So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out..." (Mat 24:23-28) This warning is about the time before Jesus returns to earth.
Double-check which Christ you have accepted, friend! The Christ of the Bible is the one who accepts repentant sinners. Have you repented before him for your sins, and are you trusting in what he alone has done to save you? Consider nothing, and no-one else!

There is nothing wrong with a belief system in which Jesus Christ is your savior. Most of the answers you have recieved have tesified to that Truth. Regardless of their own position He ..Jesus... is where your focus should be. The question, which is unanswered is your Jesus, is he the same Deity, the rest of also call Jesus? You have been given much good advice concerning the status of the B/M. Indeed it is a work of an 1830's con man. He of course had considerable outside assistance. Many of his associates were men of unscroulpus natures, including his own style of "Gold Digging".
Sadly you are living under the LDS form of belief system that is all a marrage, caused by a case of mass hypnosis. The individual or families of LDS people are fine people for the most part. I speak as one who does know! Been there done that, you should know enough about the system to recognise when I say I was a member of 5 different Bishoprics and 2 Stakes leaderships. I have been there, done that, all the way to the Temple et al.
You may very well come to face the fact, it is all an allusion, the pain of breaking free from the mind control, will not be easily accomplished. However if you really wish to get to know your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, you will have to embrace the Bible. And no not the revised version of the Bible by Joseph Smith. Be brave and read what the scholarly system of our society has to report concerning the B/M. D&C and specialy the Pearl of Great Price. The testimony of reality concerning that book of Abraham should provide you more then enough evidence as to the lack of Prophetic abilities of J/S.
Do exactly what the Priesthood leaders say to do, go and read the scriptures, other then those SLC approved. Disregard this nonesense of a "burning in the bossom" we all get that same thing...gas and heart burn... Quit reading only prescribed materials and broaden your own personal knowledge resivor. Remember what they have told you, you as an individual are intittled to personal prophetic inspiriation and revelation. You are asking of your Father in Heaven for wisdom, and protection from decite of the great Dragon (Satan)
Hurry and contact Jesus and appeal to know the truth to him. He is awaiting your call.

NOBODY has the right to judge anybody else's personal relationship with Christ, because only GOD knows what is in a person's heart. I may not agree with some of the various doctrines out there, but that doesn't mean I'm judging the people who follow them. It just means those doctrines aren't right for me / I don't have peace about following them. I believe the bible is the word of God, I have accepted Christ as my Saviour & Lord, and I follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit because I know that God's plan for MY life is not the same as His plan for somebody else's life, but "All things happen to the good of those who love God and who are called according to HIS purpose." So says the the word of God in Romans 8:28 (caps mine.) I know my behavior is not perfect (I am human), but I also know that "Now there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus" according to Romans 8:1.

How they have the right? Loaded question. However, the theology is that the LDS church has added to the bible. It is based on Joseph Smith, a two bit con artist who declared information based on golden plates which no one saw and for which there is zero evidence. In contrast to the bible which is the exact opposite. There is no denial of the existence of Jesus. The LDS church has changed the book of mormon no less the 10 times since its inception. Many of the place names are purely fictional and are only a hundred years old. It should be easy enough to track. We have a real good idea where nineveh is for example.
It is not that you do not love christ. It is that your chuch is most often considered a cult. NOthing personal in this mind you. You did ask.

I am also a member of a denomination which is called non-Christian on this site about 100 times a day, so I understand where you're coming from. If you are a believer in Christ, then I accept you as a fellow Christian, period.

Dude: Your faith is a false cult began in the 1800's by some drunken cowboy who foretold the future by staring at amber stones. After wards, Bringham Young murdered anyone who would come into his Zion. Also, the book of mormon is a complete lie since it does not measure up to biblical standard. Real Christians do not follow the book of mormon because it contradicts the Bible.

Bc, YOU don't believe in the Lie of Satan the Devil.
A triune godhead, it makes me Sick just seeing it,
let alone typing it.
Since joining Y/A's I've come to find out....well in other words,
Trinitarians LOVE to call ALL ppl
who Do Not accept this demonic teaching, names;
they (trinitarians) say they(monotheistic) are NOT Christians,
when in actuality they (trinitarians) are the ones doing the will of Satan the Devil.
They are some of the most ugly & hateful group here.
They think they alone have the RIght
(and it's really audacity-insolent)
to judge others, in such a manner.
Apparently, they are taught to be mean & ugly & hateful
to others that don't believe as they do.
Not a Christian teaching!! Not!!!
Jesus wasn't like that, to the ppl,
only towards the religious leaders of his time on earth,
those w/ wicked hearts.
Only Jesus & his God & Father in heaven can read hearts.
Yes, the Bible does say to call what is not from God as such.
Not in the manner in which they do it, though.
Mormons, J'sW's, Unitarians, Jewish and Muslims are all
monotheist faiths.
Watch how many attack me for saying this.
Or the ever popular; thumbs-down.
People of Y/A's check it out for urself,
if u don't believe me, go look @ their profile's.
(Any1 that spouts belief in the Trinity)
And see if it ain't true.
They Attack viciously, like a rabid dog,
that needs to be put down.
Watch & see; how many of them prove me right.
Watch, the backlash is coming.
And I didn't 'call' them names either, now did I?
I referred to their attitude as dogs, put didn't call them such.
Good day to you brother.
EDIT: hey there mr. peepers,
2 Cor. 2:17... we are not peddlers of the word
Matt. 10:8...you received freely, give freely

You make it hard to answer your question, because you are all set to feel 'judged', no matter what the answer, or so it seems. I can only say that there has been too much doctrine brought into your religion which isn't needed. The Bible is all one needs to study to find salvation. Not other mens' ideas, too. All we need is Jesus, so to speak. The Bible warns of 'false doctrine', so we must be careful of that. If you are satisfied with your religion, no body is going to change your mind, so I'll not even try. God bless, and happy trails. :-)

Don't let it worry you. They are wrong. It is their ignorance speaking. Mormons are Christians, as Christian as Evangelicals, Catholics, or any other Christian church members.
Because the "Bush Base" is made up of Evangelicals, some of them are not happy with the thought of any President who does not share their beliefs. They would oppose a Catholic, a Jew, a Mormon, a Muslim or a candidate of any other faith but their own. This is why Mitt Romney is being questioned right now.
. Thank Heavens, a majority of people in this country do not share this narrow-minded view.
