I have heard that putting conditioner on the top of your head makes your hair look greasier. Is that true?

Yes, it is true. You should apply conditioner from the middle down (imagine having your hair in a ponytail, that part that hangs in the "tail" is what you would condition. However, my personal exception would be to once a week condition all over. The top of your head deserves the extra condition too! :o) This has works for me for years. I do notice my roots don't have as much lift on the day I condition my roots!

yes it is true. I put conditioner all over my hair but only a little on top and a lot on the ends. Also, curly hair needs more conditioner. Some people also use a leave in spray conditioner if they have curly hair or somewhat dry hair.

Yes. Conditioner is really for the ends of your hair where it's the driest. Your scalp creates its own oils and conditions the root part of your hair. If your hair is looking greasy then make sure you use a good shampoo and only condition the ends of your hair, not the scalp area.

I agree with everyone who's answered. I notice a big difference when I only condition the ends of my hair. If you put it all over, there's a risk of overdoing it and having your hair hang limp and greasy or needing to wash it more than necessary.

Yes that's true.. I have medium length hair and I use conditoner only on the ends of my hair.... I also, wash my hair every other day and I brush it at night before bed.... My hair is shiny and healthy.. If you have light hair you can sprinkle baby powder in your hair to absorb the oil.. .Good luck

Yeah it does. Try applying it to your ends, because that's where it matters most. :]
