It is somewhat inflamed, and feels hard and tender to the touch. It is a little red and shiny, but won't burst like a regular zit-type blemish. Is there anything I can do to make it go away, maybe in the next few hours? Any paste or household remedies...please it hurts and is rather unsightly.

In case it is a blemish that is still forming or is cystic in nature, try what many models do. Wash and dry your face. Then cover the blemish with a dab of honey and place a band-aid over it. Honey kills the bacteria, keeps the skin, clean and speeds healing.

In the morning, remove the bandaid and wash your face thoroughly. In most cases, the blemish will be gone in the morning!

BTW, don't ever squeeze or pick a pimple as it forces the infection into the surrounding tissues which could lead to major complications such as a massive infection and scarring.
