I'm getting my Harry Potter audio at midnight! I need some additional suggestions for snacks for various relatives who are also reading or listening to Harry Potter this weekend. I've already made Potter Pecans (cookies) and another gal suggested Muggle Mix (trail mix). Any other food ideas that I can include in a 'reading' bag of goodies?

Go get some big pretzel sticks and then go to baking section and look for chocolate for coating, like Almond bark. Grab your favorite coating like chopped nuts or sprinkles or what ever you like. Melt chocolate and dip pretzel "wands" in chocolate and roll in your favorite coating! You can also take refrigerated sugar cookie dough and after baking place a Hershey's Kiss on for Witches Hat cookies.

Over here in the UK you can get hold of Bertie Botts Everyflavor Beans. I used to love them, but I was put off when I accidentally found a horseradish flavor one (I'm not kidding!).

Have a quick look on the internet. You might be able to order some.

You can go the old-fashioned way of cheese and onion chips and a cola.

But personally, I would not know, since I would rather slit both my wrists than pick up a potter book.

There's a lot of recipes on the web for things such as ton-tongue toffe or rock cakes. There's a lot more on the website.
