My favorite breed is the papillon.

Papillons have very friendly, adventerous temperments. From the AKC breed description, "Happy, alert and friendly. Neither shy nor aggressive."

Papillons are very intelligent (sometimes too much so for their own good!). They are in the top 10 most intelligent dogs breeds.

One of the "most trainable toy breeds".

They come in a variety of colors:

Also, if you want to get into agility, they are the top choice in their height category. (They can even beat border collie times on some courses, but due to size difference, they will never be competing against border collies.)

I love Australian Shepherds (in either the miniature or standard size) because of their intelligence! They are fun to train and live with. They seem to have a sense of humor, and are always big clowns! They are high energy, and may have problems with kids, depending on how strong their herding instinct is. They are a stocky looking dog, with a docked or bob tail. The size varies extremely within the breed. Regular Australian Shepherds must be over 17 inches at the shoulder, and minis are under that. They come in the basic colors or red (with or without white and copper points), black (with or without white or copper points), as well as red merles and blue merles (genetically a black with the merleing gene, but the color more resembles blue, hence the name). They may have any color eye except the albino pink, so they can have blue eyes (common in merles), brown eyes, or even amber or green eyes!

I have a red tri color (red with white and tan markings) named Casino. They can be named anything, but they seem to fit names like Flash, because they are real eye-grabbers!

Im a Jack Russell Terrier fan.I love the energy, the intelligence and the physical appearance. Most are small to medium sized dogs - under 15 lbs but they have the go get em attitude of a Lab or Golden. Most are short haired ,but you can have a smoothe coat or broken coat - no offense to the wire hair fans - Im sure they are great too, but they look like they got caught in the spin cycle of a dryer too long. :)

Miniature Dachshunds are VERY good family dogs. I am 14, and my mother has FOUR miniature dachshunds. I have a little bro and sis. They also bark a lot when they see a stranger. So if somebody were to walk up to your house and they don't know them, a dachshund will go off like a fire alarm. The only time dachshunds attack are if they are being treated very badly. OH, and if somebody is trying to hit you like very abusively, and they know you very well, they'll flip out and try their very best to make them stop. They are some of the best dogs

My favorite dog breed is the English bulldog. I have one named Manny, which I think is a good name for a bulldog because they sort of look like wrinkled old men, and Manny is kind of a funny old-man name. Other good names for them are Ethel, Murray, Esther, Chauncey- any funny human name that you wouldn't really name a baby.

Go to my MySpace to see pics of my Manny-boy.

My favorite dog breed is the Pomeranian. I love them because they are lively, intelligent, eager to learn and very loyal to their owner. I have a 4 month old Pomeranian named Audrey. This is what she looks like:

When she gets older, she will be a little bigger (not much though. Pom's average weight is only 3-7lbs.) and she will have a lot more fur. They look like this when they are grown:

If you are planning on getting a dog, I highly recommend the Pomeranian!

Lab= devoted and wants to please.
Mutt from shelter = they are happy to be rescued.
Papillion= cause they are happy little pappy's.
I like most breeds of dogs but the real hyper ones I tend to shy away from, they annoy me.
