It might get mushy, but it shouldn't melt. Just let them know to refridgerate it after receiving it.

It also depends on the type of fudge. Some fudge, the traditional cooked kind made from sugar, milk and chocolate, won't melt.
But other kinds, like the kind made from chocolate chips and condensed milk, will melt.

lol well my friend shipped fudge to me..she put it in a tupperware and insulated it with newspaper in a box. It was fine when we got it and it was pretty hot out.

ship it over night. pack it well. don't ship to a hot location lol
should be alright if over night
call your post office for detailed inst. or ck on the uspo website
