We don't care about the score so much. We usually do, someone trying to break 100 or 90 or even 80. But generally it's not a big deal. We're not competitive as a group, just with our own game. No betting, just fun.

Personally, I'd find a new foursome. I play because I love it and the score is what I play for. It doesn't matter to me how I'm hitting the ball as long as I can score to my ability. If I just wanted to hit the ball and not worry about the score I'd just stay at the driving range. Luckily my golfing friends share the same view.

It wouldn't bother me. If I care, then I will keep my own score. I'm just out there for fun and to compete against myself. I'm a 24-handicap and if I break 90, I don't care if the others in my foursome shot in the 70's or the 110's.
Of course, when I'm playing in my Monday night league, we have to keep score.

My hubby and I will stop keeping score when we're playing poorly. Seems like when we do, we start to play better. It relieves the pressure. Or maybe we just concentrate on our good shots and stop stressing over the bad ones.
If you're playing a round for liesure, it really shouldn't matter if your friends keep score or not. Keep track of your own score if you desire and don't worry about them.
Enjoy your game!

usually when that happens people are playing really bad. whatever the case, it's disappointing, but shouldn't be a big deal. just more ammo in the sheet-giving department for the next round.
if you're keeping track all the time then good for you. whether or not you post the score towards your handicap is a different story.

Make sure you always keep your own score... I wouldn't trust anybody else with my score... especially if they stop keeping track! I couldn't play golf without keeping score... just wouldn't feel right.

I'm not usually playing against them, so I don't care. As long as they're not going to post a score for handicap, and it's not a tournament.
I keep my own score. If they ask me to, I will keep their score.

My friends rarely keep score but it doesn't bother me because I don't really care about their scores. I'm just trying to score better myself.

I have had some people do that with me and I just let them be. I just focus on my game and improving my score with each shot. You can't worry about them. It might be frustrating, but know that they gave up, you won, and try to keep improving.

I would not bother me. I would just keep my score so I can keep my handicap up to date
