If there is no bacon i am turning my sword upon myself. What horror you speak of.
I'd be running a pork speakeasy.

The dietary restrictions won't hurt you. So I could comply. The restrictions were set forth for sanitation and some believe to set God's people apart from the pagans.

Well I have been keeping Kosher for the last 2 years and I will be the first in line fo fight such legislation.
That is not something that should be forced on people, regardless of the reason.

I have adhered to these restrictions for 35 years in a world that doesn't. And I'm not Jewish. Gideon

The Bible instructs us to submit to the authorities above us unless those authorities are in conflict with God or God's word.
So, in this hypothetical case, since the dietary restrictions have no conflict with God's word, then I would follow them.

I don't really eat a lot of pork and for some odd reason, I don't like meat and cheese together, so I guess I could handle it. However, I imagine I'd protest it just because it would be unfair.

I would refuse to comply, unless I would be imprisoned, killed, or other scary stuff (such as Saudi Arabia, where having a bible gets you jailed).
Somebody's religion is not my personal mandate. That's the beauty of separation of church and state.

I would protest verbally while conforming to requirements.
P.S. and yes you are picking on Judaism. If the word had been replaced with atheism you would have nailed me!*chuckles*

I guess I wouldn't really have a choice then. if it was mandatory, stores wouldn't sell anything else.
but i'd go to another country to get my lobster ;-)
yes, i would protest. I would argue that it violates my religion of eating pork and lobster and cheeseburgers :-)

I'd fight it legally. Not that I care about pork that much, I really don't eat it anyway. But because we should not have religious practices dictated into law.

Couldn't be worse than the Celiac Diet I have to follow......
But we're talking about freedom of religion of sorts, so I wouldn't follow it.
Freedom is freedom!
