Darn. I opened this because I had a good answer to your question and then you had to go and spoil it with the additional info.
ACDC rocks!!! But most metal bands produce something that can't properly be called music and bears about the same resemblance to Art as the Million Monkeys' first draft of Shakespeare. So there's not much to talk about.
But, to answer the question you fooled me into thinking you were asking. It's easy tell when you're on the Highway to Hell. The onramp sign said, "The Ends Justify The Means."

because the world has gotten away from the music and focused on the "marketing" of the music.
AC/DC was in it for the rock, and it shows.
