Powerpoint is primarily for slide shows. It presents templates for placement of graphics and text, or you can make your own arrangement from scratch. You then determines how quickly you want the slides to change. Usually used by those a little higher up the staff chain who need to make a presentation to push a sale or make a point.
Here is a list of tutorials.

Powerpoint is a part of the Microsoft Office suite. It is used to prepare "slide" shows for presentations. A PP page can contain text, shapes, colors, graphs, and can be brought into view with a variety of animations. It is fairly easy to learn how to use but to become an expert may require a little study. There are many tutorial books available and while I've not checked recently (I once used it quite a bit) I think it also has a built in tutorial. It is probably a little more complex, in some ways, than MS Word, but less complex than Excel (no formulas).

PowerPoint is Microsoft's presentational software, i.e. you use it to produce a slide show to accompany a speech, presentation etc. It is a first class piece of software with many facilities built in. It does take some learning to get the best out of it but is fairly easy to get started on, particularly if you are familiar with Word, as it shares many of the same type of functions.
There are plenty of tutorials available online if you do a search.

MS PowerPoint is MUCH easier than MS Excel.
It's a great way to make presentations, like on a projector
or to make slide shows of pictures to share with others.
If you can use MS Word, you should be able to teach yourself MS PowerPoint.

Powerpoint is a presentation program. Basically, instead of using the overhead projector of years gone by, you use Powerpoint to present your data, ideas, etc. Powerpoint makes your presentation more lively and exciting because you can add animation, videos, etc.
It's not that hard to learn. Start with the basics, and then work your way to animations, etc. I think it comes with a tutorial so that makes it a little bit easier for you.

Easy peasy lemon cheesy ? It would be better to get someone to show you tho. However the manual is straightforward and it is worth the effort.
