I have a 1996 Taurus (Made in Brasil). The pistol is in great shape (shot 10 bullets). It is a 357 Magnum with an adjustable site, 6" barrel, black, rubber grip... Any information would be great.

Thanks

I think in general, for the medium sized revolvers from Taurus at new price they range from 350-500.

If it's in like new condition you can probably get 250-300. Taurus guns are quite inexpensive so you won't find great resale value for them as most people would just as soon get one new.

A good used gun is better than a new crappy gun someone said and I happen to agree. You have good and expensive taste for liking Sig Sauer they are truly atop the food chain. I do disagree with some people as to the suitability of some pistols for target work. I don't find any of the DAO (double action only) pistols to have the ease of use that Double action/Single action and Single action only semi autos have. DAO's are in my opinion best for self defense and home protection scenarios and not for shooting at paper. DA/SA and SA have a distinct advantage at the range. A used Beretta 92 in good condition is @ $500 and a new Italian made model is $639 at my local shop. You are not going to find any CZ any cheaper and besides CZ's trigger are the worst in the industry absolute crap. Some Euro SIg police trade in's are making the rounds and can be had for @ $500. They may have the finish worn on the edges but it's for shooting not to look at right.

I looked at the value of about 10 different Taurus guns from a small 38 Special to a huge 17 HMR pistol. They range from $300 -$400.

I have one of those, they are a terrific handgun. They are well made and accurate. Used and depending on condition it is worth anywhere from 300 to 425 frogskins.

300 to a dealer, who'll turn around and sell it for like 400. Try to find an end user if you can, take it to a show.
