Be a person who is interesting. Yes, women tend to like men who are fit- but it's not just a looks thing. It's because fitness implies the ability to take care of yourself and by extension take care of her. But while your working on taking care of yourself, let me tell you that charm, intelligence and being passionate about something in your life goes a long way. Provided you are also looking for a woman of substance, not just a pretty moron.

PS - the guy who gave the 1st answer is a putz. Disregard his advice as he is probably some guy with no job who spends his weekends alone in his mommy's basement touching himself inappropriately.

well what exactly do you consider pretty/beautiful. Beauty is within the eyes of the beholder. Being over weight shouldn't hold you back from getting what you want. If she doesn't want you there are plenty of beautiful girls who would love to have you in this world....one more thing what always looks good doesn't mean its good for you.

I'm not fat but I still live at home, don't drive, & am not "rich", but mainly am too shy to try to find a woman-cause she may be taken or not interested in me, esp. if she's attractive-those may want a man who have what I don't, -so I play it safe & wait for her to approach me first if it ever happens....(if you refuse to date a woman who's not pretty on the "outside"-good luck,-I look on the inside first.)
