Kind of dumb if you ask me, you already needed to be motivated to get to "success".

this is attributed to a Wise Man, perhaps it's just one of those sayings that is so obvious no one needed to take credit for it.
If you desire success, it will be your motivation! Works for me

Probably Donald Trump. (LOL) Most likely it was the guy who wrote the motivational books on success. Don't recall his name off hand.

i dont know who said that...
but i dont think its dumb...
success motivates in such a way as to give us inspiration to strive hard to achieve greater success...
if we see our friends or family members successful, there is actually that desire to also succeed...
when we have succeeded in an endeavor, this propels us to succeed in all other endeavors
