I got a tattoo over a month ago.....it still isn't healed. It's tender, and looks like it's going to peal but doesn't, I've taken care of it exactly as they told me. It's just small lettering (4-1inch letters)but since it's small the guy did the whole thing with the outline needle so it's deeper. What should I do to get it healed so that it doesn't mess up the way it looks? I've used Aquaphor, Neosporin, and other skin healing ointments and nothing is helping.

I'm going through the same problem. I got my tattoo done about a month ago and mines still isn't healed mines is because the guy went over my tattoo so many times that the ink kept running on my sheets and clothes. I had to wear a bandage on it. I couldn't put anything on mines. The tattoo sunk into my skin. I had to keep going to the shop and he kept telling me it still isn't healed, it still has a glare over it and i have to wait until that go's way and now I have to get it redone because my tattoo looks like a black nothing. I know it can be very stressful because it's something that is going to be on your skin forever. Go to the shop and see what they say. Good luck

The only thing you are supposed to use on a tattoo is A& D ointment (you should have been told this). Go back to the artist and ask what's wrong.

I would use A&D Ointment and just keep it moist. If it doesn't heal up in a couple more weeks, go back to where you had it done and ask them.

just keep on doing what you have been doing, if it doesn't start to look better go back to the shop and speak to the artist
