I am 44. My BF is 24. We have been together 3 1/2 years. We still have sex between 6-9 times a day on the weekends and 2-3 times a day during the work week. Are we sex addicts?

Take a minute to look at your relationship. You may not really have a problem with sex at all. The problem may be in other parts of your relationship. You may be trying to compensate for the lack of something else -- emotional support, spiritual intimacy, communication. Other things like that are needed in a relationship as well. A relationship cannot be built around sex alone. Sit down alone one day and really look at the last 3 years. Do you have anything esle going on other than sex? If you hesitate with your answer and cannot come up with something, then the problem is that you are using sex to support all the aspects of a realtionship. I cannot tell if you are an addict or not--there's a chance. But, usually addicts don't get alot of enjoyment out of sex. It is a compulsive action that they feel they MUST do. It's a fix.

Yes you are. I'm impressed that all this has been going on for a solid 3 1/2 years. The sex is working. What else in the "relationship" is working. What else does he do for you? Ask yourself that.

I wishhhhhhh I was lucky enough to have that problem! Plus I want that problem when I am in my 40s too. I think I am jealous of a 40 yr old woman.

your at your peaks- i migth scientifically be normal. But what goes up must come down- you might go through menopause very early0 watch out.
