My girl just left for another state via bus. It's a 24 hour drive for her, but only a 16 hour drive for me (they take a roundabout way to get there).
Is it a good idea to meet her at her bus stop at the other side? Should I take the chance that she may not want to come back?
Thanks in advance.

Well, what is she leaving to another state for?

If it's because she needs space and she's taking the trip to get some distance from everything and be alone, then let her go and do what she needs to do.

If it's just for something else, then I think it would be kind of romantic for you to show up on at the depot, and be waiting there for her.

If she left to get away from you then I guess it's a shot in the dark about what you should do now. If you drive to meet her at the other end and she doesn't show up because she didn't go where she told you she was going to go then don't be mad at nobody but yourself. If she really loves you she will be back anyway. If you love her that much to drive all those hours then you might should wait to hear from here. You know what they say... you don't miss your water until the wells goes dry and they also say the grass ain't always greener on the other side. Good luck. Okay.

Look at it this way. It takes about 3 or 4 hours to use up a full tank of gas. That would mean about 4 or 5 tanks just to get to her (one way). That's 8 to 10 tanks round-trip. Then you need to figure in food, rest, bathroom (among other expenses). Even then, you still need to freshen up after such a long trip and something to give her as a gift.
Just send e-mail or talk to her on the phone.

OMGoodness, I think you should definitely meet her on the other side. Hey, if anything negative should happen like she's with another guy or she rolls her eyes when she sees you...at least you will see first hand what's what. But besides that, you may consider it stupid but a lot of girls love the corny stuff!

I think that you should do it just to see the look on her face & to see what her reaction is & I think that it is a romantic thing to do. When me & my husband first meet it was in the bus station & I thought that it was romantic beause it was just me waiting for him to get there & get off of the bus & I couldn't wait intill he got there & got off of the bus & walked through the doors to meet me for the first time.

Why didn't you two just drive there together? If you are tryin' to surprise her, then that's sweet, however, think about how feelings were between you two when she left. If everything was okay, then I see no problem to be there when she arrives.

Best Wishes!!

Very romantic but make sure you have a dozen roses with an artificial rose in the center on hand. . . The artificial one is to let her know that your love for her will never die...

She wants her own time right now and expects it. Don't chase after her...that only works in movies. But call, often.

Depends onwhy she left..

If she left to get away from you-- it might work.

If she left because was going somewhere(college, new job,?)
Then No, it would be stupid. You could have taken her there.
