Oh absolutely! You can definitely still get a tan. Heck, you can still even get a burn! As you've seen by now, it's all about the UV rays. And you don't even have to be out in the sun. You can sit in the shade and still get a tan. The sky can be cloudy and you could still tan. You can even wear a light colored long sleeve shirt and still tan through that! Crazy, but the sun is a powerful thing.
Just a suggestion, but I'd even throw some lotion on with even just the lowest amount of spf. Skin cancer isn't the only thing to worry about, and quite frankly, you've got a much better chance of sun spots and premature aging of the skin than you do of skin cancer.
Granted, I'm guilty as charged. I don't always put sun screen over my whole body, but I do always put it on my face at the very least. The sun can do some interesting things to the face.
But here I carry on lecturing and all you wanted to know was if you could get a tan still.
Yes, Yes, Yes! Now get out there while it's still up!

Tanning isn't associated with heat. That would be cooking :P

As long as the sun is out, even behind clouds, you can tan. You can get a worse burn on a cloudy day than a sunny day because the clouds distract you from the amount of sun you are actually getting and you tend to stay out longer.

yeah, cuz the suns ultra violet rays are still beating down. u could even get a tan if it's realy cloudy. it might take bout an hour though. u cant just go outside and expect to get a tan within 15 minutes. Dont wear sunglasses, learn from my mistake. u'll have a tan line!

As long as the sun is out, you can get a tan. If in the winter, you laid out in no clothes, after long enough, you will tan. The sun is the sun whether it's hot or not, and any exposure to UV rays can tan and eventually burn you.

Yes; temperature has nothing to do with getting a tan. Tan is caused by the rays of the sun.

Yes, UV rays are different than actual heat. The suns rays are what get you tan. You can even tan through light clouds! Go out there and get some color!

yes of course you can. the heat has nothing to do with it. the rays of the sun are what causes it. you can even tan/burn when it's cloudy outside too. just because the sun is covered it doesn't mean that it can't get through...clouds are basically made up of water & that's a big conductor of light.

YES! It doesn't matter how hot it is, if the sun is out and shining then you'll tan. Even in the winter or when the clouds are out, you can still get burnt or tan.

Yes, because the sun is always beating down on your skin. Though, maybe it might be easier to skip the tan; you can get cancer like that.

Not only can you get a tan, you could also get a frightful sunburn if you stay out too long and not use skin protection. I ought to know because I got burned under hazy skies and I'm black. Take care.
