bear = powerful, high authority figure
your husband and brother = people you rely on
You probably know the answer. You are feeling helpless in many aspect of life. This may deal with people with authority. It maybe about your husband's or brother's career. There is so much you can do about it. Shouting shoot the bear shows helpless conscience. In other words, you may be feeling left out in terms of support others. Due to limited abilities, you can't help out and you are feeling bad as a result and that is why you vent out in dream

It means that the part of you that is like your husband and brother is being destroyed by a strong part of you that has some characteristics of a bear. You can figure some of that out by talking in first person as though you were some part of the dream. For instance, start from the bear's point of view, say "I'm a bear and I feel...." and go with that a little bit.
You're concerned that some strong part of you may be difficult to control, and it's destroying other parts of you that you would like to develop.

It is my understanding that about 90% of our dreams are directly related to the past 24 to 48 hours, give or take. I would brain storm what I had been exposed to visually and aurally during that time period. Things like a bear suggests maybe a person who has influence or power over you or your husband. Perhaps he got called on the carpet by his boss recently and told you about it.

Bear can represent an overpower crisis which has come upon them in their life. The cage represents that they are in this situation by themselves without outside interference. The Bear could be represented by a multitude of things, sicknesses, financial trouble, and on and on. But the bear is a type of "devourer" which comes to wipe an area of your life out.

I'm not sure, but shoot the bear reminds me of the start of Jurassic Park:
"Shoot her!" "augh!" bang bang! "SHOOT HER!" bang bang!
