I have gained about 7-10 lbs. I am not huge but I am bigger then I want to be. Today I joined Weight Watchers. I am the type of person that needs to be accountable..Anyway, when I joined some of the more overweight women looked at me funny and when I told my husband he wasn't supportive at all! He thought is was dumb because I am 'not fat'..but an extra 7-10lbs keeps me out of clothes from last year and I just don't feel happy with myself! Words of advice? Support? Anything would be welcomed.

i am not a women but i don't think you must be female to help someone. i know 7-10 pounds can feel like a lot but you can lose it just as easily as you gained it make sure you eat very healthy i know everyone will say that but it is true i know you don't want to gain anymore just make smarter choices if you want chicken don't go to mcdonalds and buy a mcckiken supersized with a giant greasy container of fries and soda grill you chicken at home and drink water or tea or anything but coke even coffee i love coffee hope you lose your weight and feel happy with yourself because ultimately being happy with your body will make you happier in every aspect of your like and youare asking us for support when you have a giant support in your husband he is telling you that you are still skinny and looking good listen to him it will make you feel a lot better that your spouse is happy with the way you look hope this helps.

Well first of all, I don't think that Weight Watchers is necessary for you. You're getting the "looks" because your 10 lbs. is nothing compared to those trying to lose hundreds! Don't waste your money on WW. You can do it all on your own by cutting out soda's, even diet, eating healthy; fruits, veggies, lean meats; drink a gallon of water EVERYDAY!! Its great once you get used to it. Take an evening walk after dinner each night for 20-30 minutes. With just these simple changes, you'll lose those ten in no time!

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

I think if you are only trying to lose 7-10 lbs. weight watchers was a little much. I think walking and doing exercise would have helped instead of spending all that money on weight watchers

I know what you mean. I don't think men really get it. I think you should just stick with weight watchers. It should help you lose the weight and keep it off. Those ladies are probably just jealous. I'm sure they'll get over it with time.

i think its good you want to stay in shape and weight watchers is really good and everyone needs to work out no matter what size!!!you go girl!!!
