Where can i find the brake light switch wire on a 1990 gmc sierra 1500?

Trying to hook up a a brake siwtch for pulling a trailor... and I cant find the brake light switch wire.... any suggestions?

it is above the brake pedal , use a flashlight to locate it,

If your trying to hook up brake lights for pulling a trailer, most recommend splicing directly into the original electrical lines.

Get a kit for it, but most will come with the necessary items to splice into the brake lights already on your vehicle.
