If you have a Dollar Store in your area you can purchase a basket or large garbage can and fill it with all the little things they would need, like, cooking spatulas, measuring cups, plastic wrap, tin foil, garbage bags, plastic storage bags, coffee(if they drink coffee), etc..........then at the top put there favorite candy or chips or granola bars, them put a big bow on it!!!!!!!!! Should only cost what money you have to spare!! Good Luck...Dianne

well, i just got married and we received many presents. I know they arn't the same as a house warming gift, but i can give some feedback. i found the one gift i use the most (besides our bed ;) ) is a pot/saucepan. It's like a frying pan, but with higher sides and it has a lid. I find it's great for hamburger helper recipies :) i use it almost every night. Because it's such a large saucepan it's great for making things like hamburger helper. So if either of them are into cooking at all, this was a great gift.

maybe you could get them a picture hanging kit. You can buy them at stores like bed bath and beyond and they have all the hangers and things in them. This is a good idea if they have pictures that they will want to hang on their walls.

also anything that helps with organizing is helpful, expecially if the place is small. Those little cubby systems are great for storing anything from clothes, to food to things in the bathroom.

Just think of when you first moved into your house and think of what was something you found very useful. I'm sure something along those lines will work great. Goodluck!

What is his favorite dish you cooked for him as a child. How about the recipe and the ingrediants to cook it?
Do they have a pet? What about a gift certificate (from you) for a weekend of pet sitting so that they can get away
How about a favorite photo of them in a nice frame or a photo of a favorite spot or the family?
My favorite thing my parents gave me when I moved in with my boyfriend was support. They helped me move, made dinner on the day we moved (really they bought pizza) but it was just being there and supporting us that made it special!
It truly is the effort and heart that is put into a gift that matters...otherwise if they are coffee drinkers a coffee pot with a timer that starts the coffee before you get up in the mornin was a godsend!
Good Luck

House warming gifts are usually gifts for the home. Towels for the kitchen or bath would be a nice inexpensive gift.

Didn't he just move back in?... Dang you work fast. I'm impressed.
Well, I'd go with furniture first. If he has that, then those little necessities like a vacuum or something.
Other suggestions might be something like an online movie-rental subscription... ... ?

A gift certificate to a wedding gown store. Hopefully they get married and just don't shack up forever.
