being presented at the temple, Mary & Joseph left him and they were upset when they finally found him teaching the learned men in the temple. These men were amazed at him since he was only 12 years old.
He told them that he was doing his Father's business.

It is called the "apocrypha". These books were thrown out by the early church because they did not meet the criteria of being "divinely inspired". It seems that they reveal JC as being a very mischievious young man so they booted it out completely. They were not cute stories at all. One story has him killing another child that upset him. Not very christlike at all...

There are several apocryphal books containing childhood stories of Jesus, including the Infancy Gospel of Thomas.

There aren't any. The only such biblical reference is to Jesus debating with elders.
