A highly contagious fish disease once limited in North America to the Great Lakes has now jumped to several inland lakes. It is killing thousands of fish from an increasing number of species.

Known as viral haemorrhagic septicaemia (VHS), the gruesome disease can cause internal bleeding and haemorrhaging from open sores.

VHS first appeared in the Great Lakes in 2003, most likely as a stowaway in the ballast water of ocean-going ships. The particular strain of virus found in the Great Lakes is believed to be a mutation of a strain found in the Atlantic Ocean.

You make some good points. The evidence is far from irrefutable, however. The Bible is very lengthy and very vague. You can make it mean anything you want. See if you can come up with more specific info. After all, Eric Von Daniken took much of his "evidence" from writings like the Bible. He turned the scripture into a story about space-men.

"And the Great Bear shall attack the Great Eagle, but will be frightened away by locusts in the north wind over the field of Jesabel." (Simply translated: "Vote for Joe Blow for President).

Fish kills seem different than blood into water as divine wrath goes. If you are willing to treat Revelations as an allegory, why not treat Genesis as an allegory as well?

Call me when we can cancel blood drives and just fill up the plasma bottles from the local spring.

No, it hasn't came true yet. It says "EVERY living thing in the sea died." The sea is yet to be devoid of life.
