I don't really think so. Certainly some of the "gas" would be dissolved in the water, but your body wouldn't necessarily absorb it or sweat it out. It sounds like something that was made up to gross you out.

UM I'm not sure that shaking would help it. And now I don't think that water would absorb the smell. And if they only drank one jar of water, it won't be enough to seep from their skin cells
