I think when they call them hot they are only looking at their body and only wanting that body. But beautiful means they are beautiful and they love for who they are. Personally it bothers me when a guy calles me hot. It is good to know he thinks that, but I don't know what he really means.

Usually when a guy calls you hot, it means he likes your body and your face. You look very good to him.
Jessica Alba is hot and beautiful, nice body and a great and happy personality.
It doesn't always means that a guys just wants the body, it just depends on the guy.
But i understand what you mean about being called hot, you're just really pretty.
I know girl would rather like being called pretty and beautiful rather than hot, so i totally agree with you.
But being called hot refers to your body, so your on the right track, but if he calls you beautiful, then you got a keeper =D

When a guy says a girl is hot, he means that she looks really sexy. To me a woman can be hot, beautiful, or pretty by what she wears or how she looks. For instance, if a woman has on these super tight jeans with a low cut top she can be hot. If the same woman has on shirt and a causal skirt then she can be beautiful or pretty. That is just my opinion because it is how I determine whether a girl is hot or beautiful.
