I'm thinking of applying for this kind of job, and I'd like to know what it involves.

It' just a glorified name for housekeeping. You are pretty much a maid. As long as the pay is good, who cares.

ha ha lol...housekeeping....it goes a little something like this.
1. the number of rooms needing cleaned because of check outs or stay overs is determined by manager and divided amongst room attendants. (you either stay late or go early...never on time...when you are done the rooms you get to go after they are checked)
2. the cleaning of the room is usually disgusting....people don't care and do nasty things in hotel's they don't do at home...the bathroom is cleaned, you take out the old linen, take in the new linen, empty trash, vacuum, change sheets, make beds, dust, and check for maint issues in room...such as broken phone...and report those issues.
3. as long as the hotel is running smoothly, things go well....have laundry issues or supply issues or employment issues....you are screwed.
4. you don't get paid crap at all...no offense these are the highest rate of turnover in any hotel is usually here....illegal aliens here...crappy coworkers.

There are two benefits to this job...once you get your stuff you are usually on your own....and "FINDERS KEEPERS LOOSERS WEEPERS"
