Actually, Los Angeles isn't named for angels, but Mary. Original full name: El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles de Porciúncula (The Village of Our Lady, the Queen of the Angels of Porciuncula).

And maybe they're in hiding.

Well,I've been to L.A. and I've seen plenty of angels. You need to try checking out some of the more upscale clubs.
