Saw on tv last night that another minister was caught messing around with a prostiture. How can you trust the Church when they are being led by nothing but whoremongers. How well do you really know the people who are leading your church?

In any field, including the ministry, there will be both good and bad people. This is usually the case when dealing with human beings. Ministers are human, and therefore are fallible. I'd hardly say that churches are being led by "nothing but whoremongers". That defames the thousands of good ministers who do what they're supposed to and live exemplary lives of service and holiness.

As we all know there is good and bad in everything and everyone in all areas and occupations.
Unfortunately there are people in high trusted places that let us down drastically but it doesn't mean all ministers (in this case) are rotten.
We can only hope and pray for the best in those we are suppose to trust and feel comfortable with.

Yes, ministers can be trusted. I am 16 and I have spent my whole life in ministry. I have never meet anyone who even thought about this. Of course there are the few that do, but give me an occupation where no one does these bad things. Exactly there isn't one.

No person can be trusted simply on the basis of their occupation. It's a mistake to trust someone because of their position. I trust MY minister... but I know him personally and have reason, I feel, to trust him.
