Need more details by what you mean by locking?
Does it happen if you walk away from it for 10 minutes or does it happen while your using it? What exactly do you mean by locking?

What do you mean locking? The screen saver comes up every 10 minutes and asks for a password? Right click on the desktop go to screensavers I think. Set the duration to be longer or disable the password prompt.

Right click on the desktop go to screensaver tab then uncheck password protect. or increase when the screen saver should go on.

right click on desktop & press screen saver
then power then but the time u like :) see u.

I think I know but I need details tell me whats your OS, your RAM space, you processer speed, what type of pc it is.
