On the commercial they said neosporian helps heal cuts up to 4 days faster. How do you know it does when you don't know when your cuts are going to heal???

They advertise it that way because they tested it and on average most cuts healed four days faster with Neosporian than the other top leading brands.

the reason cuts heal faster when you use Neosporin is because most people also use bandages to keep the neosporin on the wound. A covered wound heals faster than an uncovered wound.

It means it will heal a cut four days faster if you used nothing at all - will it? Perhaps but it's marketing and hope you buy it.

i think it might be a gimik, but when they researched it and tested it, the wounds they tried healing probably healed 4 days faster than if they tried healing it with a different product. i dont know, but neosporin is a good brand.

Kills bacteria, keeps bacteria off the cut that impedes the normal healing process.
