The sides of my nose are blackhead central.
I've tried exfoliants, ProActive and many other acne products.
I've even tried having a professional try to help with facials and products.

I just bought some
"BIOR'E " Pore Perfect deep cleaning pore strips at Walmart.
I tried them and it works if you follow directions. It's an adhesive strip and it sure pulls those little sickers out. Then wash with an astringent .
It works.

You need to continue them. Have you given exfoliants a reasonable amount of time...as well as ProActive? It sometimes takes a few months for it to start to work. Then you have to continue it. Some people are predisposed to these types of things and you have to be consistent with the treatments or they don't work.

Also, consider saunas and other steamers before exfoliating or using products such as ProActive. Saunas open the pores and makes them easier to cleanse.

Take a washcloth and run hot water over it and then place it in the area of the blackhead. The hot water will help it come off.
