Hmm.. well it is hard to tell without actually examining your teeth/jaw; however, if you are experiencing pain of any kind I would recommend you see your dentist before it gets worse, or you do more damage.

You might have TMJ, which causes problems with your jaw. TMJ only happens if you have had trauma in your life, such as someone hitting you, or being in a car accident, it is not something that is genetic. Also the pulsating feeling you are having may be due to decay, or from your jaw. You need to see a dentist who can give you a full comprehensive exam and evaluate for TMJ, that way you can get an educated answer. You really need a dentist to look at it for you.

You have symptoms of tmj and it sounds like it's getting serious. Do you grind your teeth? Or notice that your jaw is clenched? This is a result of tension. If you can afford it, try getting massages to relieve some tension or rubbing your own jaw and relaxing through it. There might be some deeper issues that might need to be resolved to get to the root of the problem and prevent any future problems. Good luck. :)

Sounds like you have TMJ (templar mandibular joint located in your jaw). You most likely clench and grind your teeth while you are sleeping.

You can get a mouth guard at the pharmacy. It will prevent you from grinding at night and your pain and cracking should subside.

You have what is know as TNJ or something like that. Stop what you are doing, pick up the phone and talk to medical proffesionals. This could cause you serious trouble, even endanger you health. My most serious advise to you is make an appointment and see the doctor. This will progress to the most serious of pain, pain you do not understand. You will eventually loose teeth and be unable to feed yourself. The longer you wait the less chance of recovery you will have once the doctor repairs the damage. Do not be stupid, get it fixed.

one thing might be that your wisdom teeth are coming out and your a candidate to have them removed(unlike most dentists who tell everyone to remove them all)...or you could have TMJ a jaw dislocation with tendon strain that causes jaw pain and looseness..either way...i foresee a dentist visit in your future

mine does that sometimes, it's called TMJ.... I had to go to an orthodontist about it because of my "bite"..... It probably would be better if I had followed the Doctor's orders..... mine occasionally "locks" and I will have to massage it loose.

HI NIKK,
THESE ARE SYMPTOMS OF TMJD (temporomandibular joint disorder) AND A DENTIST QUALIFIED TO TREAT TMJD NEEDS TO BE SEEN TO AVOID A LIFETIME OF PROBLEMS.

it could be TMJ and it usually doesn't get better on its own, it cant be cured but a Dr. can help relieve the pain.
