I've known some and worked with them in battle. Like anyone, male or female, if they know what they're doing, they're grat to work with just like anyone else. if they don't know what' they're doing, it's frustrating.
Some of the chicks I've known were just as hard-core as the guys in my platoon.
I have nothing against it.

I've observed two types. The type that wants to do the best they can and are not afraid of getting dirty and do the job.
The other was the girly type that would flirt and try to get the guys to do their work for them or find ways to get out of the task at hand.
I've dealt with too many that were the girly-girl type that wanted to do the least work possible (including putting their gear together for the field).
But I feel that if they truly want EO. Then they too should shave their heads, get rid of the make-up and jewelry. Be required to perform the same tasks.
I realize their is a difference when it comes to muscles. But a 5'2" 18yr old male must lift the same weight as a 6'3" 18yr old male. There are some women who can easily out perform some men.

I served in the US army with a lot of good female soldiers. However, the military is another case of women having equal rights without equal responsibilities.
We live in a society where it's still considered worse for a man to hit a woman than for a woman to hit a man or a man to hit another man.
If you expect women to be fighting wars, you can't keep that mentality, but they do it, and that's where the issues come up.

There are two types
1. Work hard and play by the rules ladies that you are proud to serve with.
2. I want to get promoted to where I don't have to work and I will cut anyones throat or sleep with anyone to get ahead. The Cammand Chief Master Sgt at Pope AFB is in this category and there are lots of witnesses to her making these statements at Ellsworth AFB, SD.
I have no use what-so-ever for category two.

I've worked with a lot of females(Officers/Enlisted) that pulled their weight and squared away soldiers and succeeded in the military!
but, I also know a few (some are SGM's now) who got to where they are now by being evil, manipulative, back stabbing biotches and on their "backs"!
need I say more?

Some women are just there for the benefits and complain about anything and everything....yet some of us are hard core bit.ches.
We're strong, and we're independent. We may be rough at times, but we play by the rules in order to get to the top.

I was in the U.S. Army for 4 years. The females I worked with pulled their weight, and I didn't know any that slept with the higher ups to get promoted. I was very proud to be in the Army and I wish I was still in. I regret getting out. If they ever want me back, I'd be willing to join again.

I'm agreeable to the whole 'women can't be Infantry' thing, but other that that, it really shouldn't matter. The Army offers awesome benefits let alone the best pay in the world (o.k, that last bit was sarcasm). I really don't care.

I think it is easier for them in every way. They should not be allowed any schools besie basic and thier jobs should be more limmited. They scream equal standards only when it is convienient. I think instead of AIRBORNE wings they should be allowed little frying pan badges or something.

they are either some of the best soldiers who work extra hard to prove themselves or they are looking for the MRS title.
